Month 1: Orientation & Foundations
In your first four weeks, you'll embark on our comprehensive orientation program designed to set you up for success. Expect to:
- Get acquainted with our development tools and environment
- Learn our internal communication channels and collaboration workflows
- Understand our code organization, style guides, and best practices
- Master commit conventions, branching strategies, and pull request processes
- Run projects locally and navigate our CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in peer code reviews to learn and provide feedback
- Set clear expectations, goals, and milestones for your role
Months 2–6: Exploration & Growth
After your first month, we’ll rotate you across multiple projects to help you discover where you shine. During this phase:
- Take on small tasks with different teams and tech stacks
- Explore frontend, backend, or full-stack development
- Receive ongoing mentorship and in-depth code reviews
- Identify your strengths, interests, and growth areas
- Gain real-world experience with our core technologies
Beyond Month Six: Team Placement
Our goal is to position you where you can make the greatest impact. While most placements happen by month six, the exploratory phase can extend up to a year. Once we’re certain of your superpowers, you’ll join a dedicated team and focus on long-term projects aligned with your skills and career aspirations.
